May 14th - Opening weekend has come and gone, and it will probably go in the books as one of the best! Lots of walleye's caught and beautiful weather. Many walleye's in the 17-19" class were caught as well as a few fish in the low 20" class, the biggest here at the resort was 23". Most if not all of the fish were caught using 1/8 or 1/4 oz jigs with a shiner minnow in 10-14 fow. Lots of action as well with northern's and a few nice perch in the mix as well. Water temps are ranging from 57-60 deg. depending on location.
We have opening's in May, so the time is NOW to get in on some great walleye action!
